Venice set to music

Venice set to music, and a few impressions from the Biennale

Video is such a great medium for telling stories, and travel stories in particular. I’ve just taken my first baby steps into the medium. This video was shot in October last year on a Nikon D800, when Liz and I were there for the Venice Biennale. It’s short, hope you enjoy.

What magnificent video Mike I loved every minute……brought tears to my eyes as one of our favourite cities came to life with stunning scenes and stirring music…..thank you, I look forward to the next one!

Nice job Mike, brought back some memories. My wife and I spent a couple of hours there while on a cruise in 2006. Not enough time to do much except take an obligatory gondola ride and see St. Mark’s square. We often thought we’d like to go back and spend a bit more time, but a European river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest beckons first. We’d like to spend a few extra days in Amsterdam before starting the cruise, but from what we’ve seen so far, the cost of hotel rooms seem extremely expensive so I’m not sure it will happen.
