Can I visit the Galapagos Islands without going on a tour?
When traveling to South America early next year, I want to visit the Galapagos Islands. Getting around there seems quite an expensive experience. Would you recommend taking a tour or is it much cheaper and not so difficult to travel around there your own way? I want to partake in some scuba sessions and not many tours include those. Thanks!
You really can’t do it on your own, by the time you tot up the cost of flights, hotels, getting around and accommodation, it’d cost more than a guided all-inclusive tour. It’s just one of those fantastic and unique natural places and you have to pay for it, but nobody complains too much about the price after they’ve been there. Check Dive the Galapagos .
